This website divides scanner radios into 6 categories based on their
features they have and what services they can monitor. The table below
shows which categories you should look in to find the radio scanner you
will need to hear the action you want. Users interested in hearing police,
fire, local government, business, utilities and related interests should
look under Land-Mobile.
